Last Sunday, First Baptist Church of Fate was blessed to have Lin Du as our guest pianist. Lin is from China and is in her third year as a Piano Performance major at Dallas Baptist University. Lin’s parents, Zhanyu Du and Yanhong Dai, and grandparents, Suqing Chen and Lianpeng Dai, who are visiting from Shenyang, China, attended the worship service along with Lin.
The church is sponsoring a Valentine’s Day spaghetti dinner to help our youth earn money for camp. The dinner, scheduled for February 11 from 6 – 8 p.m. will be served by members of the youth group and will include entertainment and other fun activities. Tickets are $10 per person.
Casey Moore joined the First Baptist Church of Fate family as the new Youth Minister, being officially voted in on November 6. Casey previously served at New Hope Baptist Church in Greenville.
